I am Genene Onaye, also known as “The Compassionate Widow.” I have over 30 years of public service experience, and 20 years in church ministry leadership. My vast experience has enabled me to draw upon leadership skills from both a Christian and a secular setting. As a Business Executive, Author and Consultant, I desire to meet the diverse needs of the individuals the Lord allow me to serve. I utilize simple, yet insightful ways to equip and influence others.
 

What’s the story behind the name, ‘The Compassionate Widow?” I claim it as a Badge of Honor. It carries with it a spiritual meaning; acting to alleviate the suffering of others. Compassion for others, is the legacy that my late husband, Pastor Steve Hibbler left behind.
